Happy Mothering Sunday In England

Mother's Day is in May in the USA but in England they have Mother's Day or Mothering Sunday, the fourth Sunday in Lent, which is tomorrow.  For all those in England, have a happy day.
Especially for my mother-in-law, Joan, I wish you a very happy Mothering Sunday.  May you always have the luck of a FIVE leaf clover!
Hope you will always have the beauty of flowers.

Flowers fill the Earth with joy and I hope that these few photos have made you joyful.
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Kay

    1. Thank you, and I know that Father's Day will be in June for you (same in USA and England!) so you won't have too long to wait for your day!

  2. Such beautiful pictures! In Germany, too, Mother's Day is in May, and my Mum never wants us to do anything on that day. Even when my sister and I were still in kindergarden and were requested to make something for our Mum, she would say, "if you don't love and treat me nice all year, there's no use of giving me presents on that one day of the year."

    1. Dear Meike,
Thank you! I didn't say, but Peter (Richard's Dad) found that 5-leaf clover on one of our walks and along with those white flowers, I framed it for them! At first, the bright green did not fit in their decor, but it faded to that nice light brown and now looks as if it is custom made for their sitting room!
Does she let you do nice things now on Mother's Day? How do you like my sunflower photo, you know it's mine, I am holding the sunflower with one hand and I have got cut the top of it off in my photo!

    2. The sunflower is, like the rest of the pictures, beautiful! The framed clover is such a nice gift!

    3. Dear Meike,
Oh thank you, even with my poor scunched up hand in it, I still like that photo! And that day that we found that 5leaf clover was such a pretty day, it was nice to frame that so they could remember it!

    1. Dear Kay,
Flowers, I must have flowers always!
Most of these are older photos, some from England, some from Georgia...but that last photo is from very recent and is from the top of Arabia Mountain, the jasmine smells divine...
Even if it is not Mother's Day yet, show YOUR Mom these flowers in my post and tell her to have a lovely day!

    1. Dear Jane,
"Flowers fill the Earth with joy" is a quote from someone I am sure, but I was too lazy to look it up last night!
I might not have been the first one to say it but I truly believe it.
Thanks and I hope you will have lovely day too! :-)

  6. I'm sure your mother-in-law will have a lovely day with all those virtual flowers given to her!

Partner-who-drinks-tea has her feet up on the sofa and is half reading, half-snoozing while Richard makes us both a roast dinner. So I like Mothers' Day too!

    1. Dear John,
My mother-in-law makes the best Roast chicken dinner and Peter picks out a wonderful white wine to go with it...my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
Happy Mother's Day to Jo and happy eating for you! :-)

    1. Hey Paul!
Thank you! I hope you are able to see the posts that I did on Kyle Maynard. I can't seem to link to things within my own posts, but I have a search engine on the right, just above where it says "About Me".
Look forward to reading YOUR posts. Keep up your music, your biking and your great attitude!

  8. Lovely. I had great cards from my son and daughter and 1 lb of Belgium chocolates (me favourite) from my son and a Marks and Spencers gift card from my daughter.

  9. Oh Barbara, I love Marks & Spencers almost as much as I love chocolate. (Belgian is good but English is just as good to me!)
