Are You Easily Amused?

This is the drink that I like to have with my fish & chips when I am in England!
This is the handle of a fan that we have in our living room. Richard has been watching too much Science fiction!

Bumpy potato from my Dad's garden. My Dad makes sure to give me funny vegetables because...well, he knows what I am like!  We ate this, I promise you, it was wonderful! Oh, and Richard put that little bottle cap on there just cause he thought it needed it.

This one is a bit mean but I am sure it was meant in a good natured way! Right?

Even my handbag thinks I am funny!
(And I used to say "pocketbook" but I notice that no one says that now, it is considered very old fashioned.  Oh well!)
Hope you are finding something to smile about today!

  2. This was fun. I am easily amused. I can watch a clothes dryer spin until the clothes are dry. Of course watching a baby or toddler is an experience. Even watching to see how long a bird will stay perched on a branch is entertaining. I like to watch those news ticker tapes at the bottom of the television. My children did not even realize they were there.

    1. You are funny! I need a bigger TV so I can see all the news at the bottom of my screen, some of it doesn't fit on there and I have to just figure it out! LOL!

  3. This post made me smile! Loved the stick figure slam...too funny! The spud made me giggle because it looks like it has an "outie" belly button...and my southern belle mother-in-law always called her purse her "pocketbook"! I miss her every day and you brought back a memory of her I had forgotten..that made me smile too! Thanks!

  4. I love such mixed posts, and like you, I can find entertainment (and often beauty) in the most unexpected, banal places.
Love that picture of you Dad - I remember the original post it was in!
As for Tango, I know it of course from England, but I don't drink it; too sugary for my liking...
Hey, only a bit more than a week and I'll be on my way to Yorkshire!

    1. Yes, that photo of my Dad was from the Sunflower Festival from two years ago, I really miss that festival!!
I really like another drink that is fruity but it is mixed with water, I really liked it, but I can't remember the name of it!
I just read on the BBC that Harrogate is the happiest place in the UK!!
Lucky you going to Yorkshire, have fun!!

  6. I am very easily amused. It's been so long since I've had a can of Tango I didn't even notice that lovely little dig at poncy ingredients.

    1. Ha! Richard has not been able to get a photo of his favorite one...it shows a T Rex saying "Your stick family was delicious".
Stay tuned, if he sees it and has his camera, it will be on my blog!

  10. Years ago when I had my greengrocery shop in Noosa I had a tomato not dissimilar to the potato shown...I sat "him"...aka "Tom" on the front counter. He drew lots of stares, smiles and comments! :)

I enjoy being amused...my two furry rascals, Remy and Shama keep me highly amused! I probably amuse them, too...or maybe I confuse them.... :)

    1. My Dad saves his "funny" vegetables from his garden for me. They make me laugh AND I get to eat them too!
Cats are highly amusing. I don't know if people realize how expressive their faces are...my cat could look bored, scared, angry and annoyed...along with a dozen others! AND she could say my name!
Quite the amusing creature, the cat...and amazing too!
