Merry Christmas Blue Christmas Tree!

There is something about blue that I find very calming. When I saw this blue tree from Southwark Cathedral from London, I had to share it with you.   My little shiny blue Christmas tree I had on my blog a few posts back? (The photo was from a few years ago.) I seemed to have LOST it! How can you lose a Christmas tree? I don't know but I did!  I must have put it away in a VERY safe place.

This photo is from last year but I just looked and Southwark Cathedral used the same blue lights. At their Christmas Eve service last night, it was standing room only. That pleases me.

My dear friends in Blogland, I looked and I had 91 drafts for posts.
91!!  Now that I have shown you this blue Christmas tree, the count is at 90.   That doesn't count the slips of paper with ideas stuffed into my handbag/pocketbook.  (I still say pocketbook but I am old and young folks look at me funny!)

Thankful for my blessings in my life and my blogging friends are a big part of those blessings.  God bless you, every one.

    1. Hey Graham! I received your Christmas card and it made me let out a little squeal of delight! Really it did! I put it next to the card from your brother, with Pat's card just above it. They make a nice trio. Thank you very much indeed.

  8. I remember some time in he 80's it was the thing to have blue lights in your windows instead of the white we use today. My mom always said pocketbook. It sounds like you have lots of wonderful ideas.
    Happy New year

    1. Thanks, not to mention all those slips of paper in my pocketbook...and I just found some slips of paper at work with ideas for blog posts, underneath my stack of spare papers. (I keep torn off bits of paper where I write notes for work rather than using post it notes. Told you I'm old!)

  13. It's a beautiful tree indeed. Talking of blue, we enjoyed Malta where there are blue lights all over the place, they represent the Virgin Mary - as this is her colour. I hope you have been having a wonderful Christmas holiday!

    1. How lovely that must have been, to see all those blue lights. I knew that the Virgin Mary is most associated with blue but when I mentioned it to a friend recently, they didn't. One of those things that I think everyone should know! Hope YOU are having a wonderful holiday and looking forward to 2020. xx
