Speaking of hope, did you leave a comment on my last post for my one year blog's anniversary? If not, go back and do so now, I hope to have the MOST comments on that one post as I ever have had!
Can't leave you without a few photos! I took the church sign photo waiting at a stop sign this summer when it was so hot and we needed rain so badly. I love reading the messages on church signs! The second photo is of Richard holding a tiny kitten, it was taken a few years ago at my sister's house. And I just remembered another church sign, took this one waiting at a red light!
Have a nice day! (And I hope that robot from this new movie doesn't make me think of HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey. "Hello, Dave", oooh... thinking of that voice just creeps me out!)
That is an awesome sign, I love it! And hahahahaha.. I know what you mean about the word verfication thing. I don't have it on my blog, out of mercy to whoever is so nice as to visit lol
ReplyDeleteThanks! And honestly, I cannot read some of those word verification things!
DeleteThe trailer looks good. I just hope it isn't one of those cases where all the good bits are included, and the rest of the film is dull.
ReplyDeleteWord verification seems to be getting more and more difficult to decipher!
I like the church signs, some of them are really clever.
The critics liked this movie but sometimes the critics and I don't agree! And you are right, sometimes they show the best bits in the trailer!
DeleteI like church signs. My favorite is: NO GOD NO PEACE
KNOW GOD KNOW PEACE.
I love those signs:):) I'll be visiting again. smiles to you, Susie
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susie. Please do! And go back to my last post and leave a comment there for my giveaway! :-)
DeleteWord verification gives me hives.
ReplyDeleteHA! It makes me want to start cussing like a sailor!
DeleteThose word verifications give me fits. I like your signs and Richard with the kitten.
ReplyDeleteThere is an even BETTER photo of Richard with the kitten...but I couldn't find it! And I LOVE those church signs, I always look for them.
DeleteLove the exercise daily sign! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe very best exercise.
DeleteI just finished watching the trailer and I must say that it looks quite interesting. It's been awhile since a preview of a film caught my interest. I will have to consider giving this one a try.
ReplyDeleteThe word verification is horrible! Sometimes, I can hardly make out what I'm supposed to write and end up doing it wrong. Then I'm asked to do it again. ARGH! I wish they would improve it.
I love those church signs. They are so funny. And the kitten, obviously, is adorable.
Tell you what, I will drive up to Canada and we will go see that movie, what do you say? :-)
DeleteUGGHH, the words and numbers are impossible for me to see! I try so hard and sometimes have to give up!
Glad you like my church signs and a kitten is so sweet, I think a baby rabbit is the only thing that comes close to it.
You mentioning HAL's voice made me remember Steve - he could so perfectly imitate that! He would say "What do you think you're doing, Dave?" in that very soft, gentle and yet oh-so-creepy voice...!
ReplyDeleteLove the picture with the kitten!
Oh Meike, every time you mention Steve, it makes me see how much I would have liked to have known him! How funny that he could do that robotic voice so perfectly!
DeleteAnd of course, I thought of you when I chose this kitty photo, my cat-loving friend! xx
I got rid of the word verification long ago. Sweet kitten looks like a mini version of my Dot,only floofier!
ReplyDeleteThis was one of my sister's cats and she has the nicest cats, not an insane one like we have!
DeleteGreat signs. I don't know why ANYONE has word verification on. I think most people don't even know it is in place. Blogger does a GREAT job of filtering out spam. Half the time if they have word verification I don't leave a comment- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThanks, Diana! Maybe more people will start leaving off the word verification. I hope so!
DeleteThe word verifiers are a pain in the neck!
ReplyDeleteLove the signs.
Dear Mimi,
DeleteAnd I knew you would love the signs! Love my little Georgia churches, we have more in Rockdale County than just about anywhere. I think I did a post about that year, about the King James Bible. Wow, I just remembered that, I will have to go read my own post! :-)
i too struggle with the varications. I always get it wrong! it really fustrates me.
ReplyDeletelove the signs. hehe!
x
I get them wrong too! I wonder how many times you get them wrong before someone busts into your house and arrests you for being a robot? These are the kind of things I think of!
DeleteNot keen on verification but not keen on spam either. Difficult choice for some.
ReplyDeleteLike the signs, but prefer the kitten!
Did you get a lot of spam before you put your verification on? I wouldn't mind the words if they were not so impossible to my old eyes!
DeleteThose signs are funny. Word verification is a pain, but so many people seem to bothered with nasty commenters as well. I too have been very disappointed with movies recently, maybe this one will be better.
ReplyDeleteThe word verification on wendy's blog, I think her blog is wendyhouse...she had funny words, like spiffing and crikey, and you can see them!
DeleteThank you for your comment! Your little cat looks so cute and cozy. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Hulda!
DeleteI love that you started the Kreativ Blogger award. You have such a beautiful blog! Thanks so much for your comment. :-)
I agree about the word verification. It gets somewhat frustrating when I can't figure the word out. However, the spam thing is pretty irritating too.
ReplyDeleteDo you know sometimes I have to type the words in 3 or four times before I get it right? Or perhaps I never do, and it figures a robot would have given up by then!
DeleteHA!
Ha! Prove your not a Robot or an Old Person! Love it. Those passwords are really hard to see, I agree.

Thanks, Elizabeth, I'm glad you appreciate my truthful humor!
DeleteI have to say that I, too, detest word verification. I'm not too keen on comment moderation either because often one finds the juxtaposition of comments made in isolation look silly. It also removes the intimacy and immediacy for me. When I saw the trailer I immediately thought of ORAC from Blake's Seven.
ReplyDeleteHey GB!
DeleteMy "artistic" brain finds it hard to decipher those images and words in the word verification boxes. Why do I call my brain "artistic"? Better to say that than what it really is!
Richard tells me that Blake's Seven was a TV show. We got a lot of English shows, but I don't remember that one.
And those pink trees from my Stone Mountain photo are EASTERN REDBUDS and I make a point of having my photo made with them every year. I love them so much! The Jacaranda trees look nice but it looks as if they have them in Florida and California. I just looked it up!
