Happy 2026 to you all!
Do you have a song in your head that you are singing yet? No? I have one for you! It is "Home Inside Your Heart" and it is written by our son, with vocals and guitars, all by Christopher. (Richard tells me there is some percussion that is also added. I hardly notice a drumbeat; I am always about the melody!) I love it and cannot stop singing it! (I promise I would love it even if it were not written and performed by our dear son.)
Please, give this a listen. And tell all your friends to do so also!
I can't seem to get it from YouTube on this post but if you click on that link above, I hope you can hear it.
Going back in time, I am showing you some photos of Christopher!
There is a more recent photo of C. with his lovely wife, Sarah! Ha ha, can you see that I have taken a photo of that picture from a phone? Why? Who knows? It takes a while for me to figure out how to do things on a phone. LOL! Anyway, you can see why I wanted it, it's a great photo with the Tennessee river behind them.
Please, let me know that you were able to listen to the song!
The winter picture that Christopher chose to go along with his video is by Monet. Did you know that Monet painted over 100 paintings with snow? I think there might possibly be a future post about this!
A beautiful love song! I enjoyed listening to it and left a thumbs up on YouTube.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much, Debra! You have such good taste!
DeleteIt's a nice song, good voice, and I like the picture with it... though not in reality. Almost three more months of grim dark winter to go before it's finally spring again. And It can't come fast enough for me.

DeleteSnow really is nice, in a photo or painting! Spring will come again for you, Blue Sky Boy!
Happy new year! Your son is so talented! I loved the harmony and overall instruments and vocals. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteI will let Christopher know that you are a true musician and therefore, your comment will mean even more to him. Thank you! And the happiest of 2026 to you in lovely Hawaii.
DeleteChris is very talented! I love the song, the melody and the words. I also like the Monet he chose to go with it. I never knew he painted snow pics.
ReplyDeleteThank you! C. will be so pleased to read this! You know, I really must write a post about Monet. Christopher is also an admirer of his art.
DeleteBeautiful photos and lovely song, dear Kay. ❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear Linda!
DeleteI was able to listen to the song. It's beautiful and I'm sharing it on my blog tomorrow. I also gave it a thumbs up on YouTube. I understand about doing stuff with your phone. Some stuff is easy; some stuff makes me wanna curse.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Ha ha, there are so many things that are easy for others but I am still struggling along with this 21st century stuff. A huge thank you for the thumbs up AND for sharing it on your blog, you are a DOLL!
DeleteYes, nice song!

Happy New Year to you and thank you very much!
DeleteThe link took me right the song on Facebook. He keeps growing artistically. The choice of the Monet fit perfectly.
