Beachy Head Peace Path, Eastbourne |
LET PEACE FILL OUR HEART, OUR WORLD, OUR UNIVERSE.
PEACE.
You may read the story behind the Peace Path at Beachy Head just here.
Claude Debussy began writing this while in Paris but completed "La Mer" at The Grand Hotel In Eastbourne.
Looking Out Over the English Channel, towards France. |
Isn't that interesting...and a very beautiful place. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteIt is an amazing place in the world. x
DeleteKay, You have some great photos. Always nice to see your posts. We are all sending prayers to France. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, sweet Susie. xx
DeleteOh I just love that shot looking out over the English Channel.
ReplyDeleteRichard got fairly close to the edge to get that shot, much closer than I like to go.
DeleteImagine....
ReplyDeleteMy heart is heavy...so heavy....
I know, Lee, I am the same. The evil of taking innocent lives, it is something I can never get over.
DeleteThe stunning photos almost obliterate the message here. Wow! And your new header fills me with awe.
ReplyDeleteThe header photo is from this time last year, at the Grist Mill at Stone Mountain Park...this once was used as a water mill to grind corn.
DeleteA beautiful post, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lynn. It is very difficult for me to convey my deep feeling over this, so I hope you can read between the lines.
DeletePraying for peace.
ReplyDeletePraying very hard.
DeleteBeautiful and appropriate.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debra.
DeleteLooking towards France - as we all do today. Thank your for your message of Peace.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Patricia.
DeleteNice tribute to those in France. Am praying for Peace in our world.
ReplyDeletePeace be with you.
DeleteThe path to peace is a long one, but I'm sure we'll make it across one day.
ReplyDeleteIf only all could agree to do so!
DeleteWouldn't it be great if this message was universally embraced...
ReplyDeleteUniversally embraced, yes!
DeleteThere are now words, but we pray for peace. xx
ReplyDeletePeace.
DeletePopular cliffs for people climbing upwards on the white chalk nowadays. It's a scenic area along that coast.
ReplyDeleteIt is a scenic area but one must be very careful near the chalky cliffs, And they have warnings for anyone walking at the bottom of the cliffs also, it is a danger. As you know, Beachy Head is known as a spot for suicides. The chaplains are always looking out for those that they can help.
DeleteI wish all the world would pray for peace. I love your header photo, by the way, it is really charming.
ReplyDeleteThe header photo is from Stone Mountain, it is from this time last year. Our leaves have not been as nice this year!
DeleteNever thought I would say it....... but that post made me feel quite homesick for the south of England. Then I took a look out of my window at the sun (at last) shining on the sea and felt better!!
ReplyDeleteAh, the sun upon water...one of the best sights we can see.
DeleteThe sparkle of it amazes me every time I see it, every time. xx
