|Photo of the Super Moon in Front of My House...I was all alone, just we three...my echo, my shadow and me!|
I only discovered The Ink Spots last year and I was so glad that I did! This video of "We Three" is great, you can listen to a wonderful song and see some fantastic photos of the moon. Enjoy!
I can not say I like that one but you are right, some of those old records deserve another listen. They had words that meant something or told stories. Nice to hear again anyway.............love the moon pictures tooReplyDelete
Not everyone has the same tastes in music, I know, but this song is so dreamy and it fit perfectly with my moon photo!Delete
The moon shots in the video sure made me smile. Thanks for sharing Kay.ReplyDelete
I know! It is so clever the things that they come up with, I loved the one where the moon looked like a balloon!Delete
Kay, Many years ago, my SIL had an Ink Spots record and I love that song...it was , "I don't want to set the world on fire." I liked this song too. Your moon photo is really good. xoxo,SusieReplyDelete
Oh yes, I know that one too! Apparently, that was on some kind of video game so even young folks know that one! I know all of the Inkspots songs now, I went on an Inkspots listening frenzy after I discovered them! xxDelete
Sweetie and i enjoyed watching that, thanks!ReplyDelete
I am glad you liked it too, so clever the way folks can think of photos like this!Delete
Thank you- -that was delightful old song, and I really enjoyed the moon photos they included. Pretty amazing.ReplyDelete
I love to have a good song with a nice video to watch at the same time, glad you enjoyed it! xx Keep looking for hearts!Delete
Wow! You've only discovered The Ink Spots! I've not heard them in years or thought about them in years. They were part of the music I grew up with. My mother and grandmother loved.ReplyDelete
My parents only listened to Country music and Gospel but my Dad had a friend who owned a record shop and we had a lot of singles that he gave my Dad...Elvis, Buddy Holly, and lots of others, but no Inkspots!!Delete
The moon shot was beautiful but more than that your header photograph of cacti was absolutely stunning. Are they in your garden? Torrential rain here this morning. We would only find such plants in Kew Gardens or may be in The Eden Project in Cornwall. The Inkspots? That is a real blast from the past! xReplyDelete
Thanks, Pat! I am glad you liked the moon shot AND the cacti photo! The prickly pear cactus was on ...you might guess it, on Arabia Mountain! (See the rock in the background?) They are also on Panola Mouitain AND on OUR mountain, Stone Mountain! This was taken in May, and those flowers are just so pretty! And I love the Inkspots, so happy to have discovered them.Delete
Thanks for your nice email! I will reply to it the first chance I get! It is after 10 at night now, so much to do, and so little time, am I right?
Your moon photo is very good.
was delightful song included in the video, and I really liked the photos of the moon were included.
Thank you so much! I found it very difficult for our little point and shoot camera to focus on the moon, but I kept at it, and finally the "man in the moon" showed his face! Glad you liked the song too. I love music, I can't say I prefer any certain kind, I just know what I like. Greetings to you, in your part of the world!Delete
Wonderful capture of the moon! It's been lovely to see it these past several nights!ReplyDelete
Thank you! I know Richard could have taken a better shot, but I did very much want to capture it!Delete
That is a gorgeous photo of the Super Moon! Mine did not turn out so well.ReplyDelete
Thanks, Kay! And I am not letting you see the photos that I took where the moon is so out of focus it looks like an aspirin dissolving in water! LOL!Delete
Love the new header, and the moon shot is a treat.ReplyDelete
Happy you lke the cactus photo, Richard took that one at one of our favorite places, Arabia Mountain.Delete
Thank you! No one has to know how many shots I took until I got this one!Delete
I love the moon. The Inkspots takes me back. Your YouTube video isn't available in the UK (copyright reasons) but I remembered it when I listened to it on Spotify.ReplyDelete
I have always loved the moon. Free and available to all!Delete
Oh, I wish that you could see the video! You would love all the shots of the moon, very cleverly photographed.
The Inkspots! I am glad that the music is being used in some movies and video games and bringing it to a new generation!
Being a Cancerian, I have an affinity towards the moon. Sometimes I feel ruled by it!!ReplyDelete
What a great shot of it, Kay!
The Ink Spots are a great group, eh?
Oh, you have just reminded me of something! I had a friend who was very much into astrology and she told me that my sun was in Aries but my moon was in Cancer! I had forgotten all about that, but I remember telling her that I had always loved the moon, but then, didn't everyone? She said no, that most people don't think a thing about it! HA!Delete
Bill Kenney, the lead singer of the Inkspots, moved to Canada and had a TV show there, I believe!
