Dear Meike, The first sunset was at Arabia Mountain, which I think you will recognize. ;-) The second photo was at Publix, the grocery store we stop at sometimes on our way home from Arabia and those orange flowers from South Africa really caught my eye. That last photo is of the sunset over Lake Alexander, at Panola, near the Rockdale River Trail. All photos by Richard, but direction by Kay!
Dear Chris, Orange is so bright and I was so excited to see those orange flowers just after that first sunset! The second orangey sunset came a few days later, but I just felt I had to share these orange-connected photos! All taken by my husband Richard, he almost always takes the photos on our walks.
Dear Marie, Thanks so much for your comment! Guess what? I made your lovely Honey Cornbread Surprise Muffins and they were out of this world!! I made them gluten free by using 1/2 cup rice flour, 1/4 cup almond flour and 1/4 cup cornstarch instead of the 1 cup wheat flour, and they were really good. Thanks for a great recipe!
Dear Martha, Have you ever seen orange flowers like these? They were called Orange Star, I think, they were from South Africa. We love our flowers and skies, funny when they match!
Dear Audrey, HA HA!! You are JUST like me, cheesy as all get out! I had to sit on my hands not to type in these words with the photos.."Orange you glad for these colors"...but there, you have seen them anyway!
Dear Jane, Ah, I KNEW I had to have orange as my first color theme, I must have known this was your favorite. I think I might do more photo only posts in one color, what do you think?
Ha! My Mom thought Kool-Aid was the most wonderful thing. We were the only Southern kids who never had iced tea, we were Kool-Aid kids all the way! Thanks for your comment!
All 3 are cool photographs. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks! All taken by my husband, Richard!
DeleteStunning pictures, Kay! Love the silhouettes on the last one.

ReplyDeleteDear Tracey,
DeleteThanks and we must be the same. I really must be careful, my eyes are always looking at the clouds or the sunset!
Orange is really a beautiful color.I have a T-shirt that is all black but has a few orange and red flowers embroidered on it and I love it.
