Listen! Can you hear all the music? What? You can't? Well, stick with me, folks, I will supply you! Stay positive, it's important. (Any negative songs? GET THEM OUTTA HERE.) And don't mess with Mr. In Between.
I'm positive that there are days when I get cabin fever but for the most part I am content. I'm also positive I don't want anything to do with this virus. I'm positive it will be over someday. I have hope that it will not take years.
Yes, you know we love our birds! It's funny you mentioned a blackbird, I just heard a bird yesterday in my yard, and it was so lovely I had to go out to see what it was...it was the robin (our American robin) which is more like your blackbird! (It is a thrush, same family!)
When I think back on my life I know I've been through much worse than this virus. The world has too. Stay positive... keep steady... this too shall pass. Oh, and wash your hands!
We must keep our wits about us and do the right thing, social distancing, wash our hands and wear masks if out in public. I hope everyone remembers to do these things!
Music always helps...Always. Today, besides your link, this Canadian music helped me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=139&v=athd5_CW_z0&feature=emb_logo
And here is a John Denver song I've never heard before...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKc0wEmwmYc&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR3qtuefymrga8ym7DG9CDnw5TvA9_5tGJW7QCwdL55vPQnzjDSTGaFEER4
I love John Denver and I thank you very much for sharing this song with me. He was an amazing songwriter, that particular song is just right for these times. xx
I am definitely focusing on the positive. It's been very hard to have travel taken away. We canceled our trips to Hawaii, Italy, and Nova Scotia. My niece postponed her wedding in July. So, now that I'm home, I'm remembering all those days I was working and would have loved a day at home with no responsibilities. And I'm doing all the things I would have loved to do at home, like baking (No so good for the waistline ~ LOL). One thing that has been very good is that I now work out with my longtime trainer, Julie three times a week rather than two. ~ Thanks to FaceTime. Fortunately I'm an introvert, so I don't mind my own company for long stretches. Take care! Hugs to you!
Always good to stay positive !
ReplyDeleteYou should know, Mrs. Look ON The Bright side! :-)

ReplyDeleteYes, and it is much needed.
DeleteBirdsong, too! It makes me happy when I wake up in the morning to the beautiful song of "my" blackbird.
