American Woman/Stay Away From Me!

When we visited England recently, I think that there was at least ONE who might not have been thrilled with our visit... look at the photo here, and see what you think.

Get this American woman away from me, PLEASE!

Now. PeTe, you know you are crazy about me!! Ha!
Guess who goes to England and takes a cowboy hat for a dog? Yep, that would be me!

Stay tuned for more fascinating stories of our trip to England! I know, you can hardly wait!

    1. I don't think he was too pleased with the hat! I think he believes that I was put on Earth to give him doggie treats!

  3. Thank you for providing me with the first laugh for today! It is 3 minutes to 7 and I have just gotten up and planted myself in front of my computer, my fox mug filled to the bream with steamingly hot, black, sweet strong coffee.
Let the day begin... (not my favourite, as it is the 6th anniversary of Steve's death)

  4. Love the hat on the dog ..... and look forward to your impressions of your trip to England. As an American who lives here I am always interested in what other Americans think. I've been here so long now I believe I have lost my feeling of being from somewhere else looking in.

    1. I have spent so much time in England that I do know a bit about what you mean. It's hard for people to understand that though. I am either here in this small town of Georgia, or else in Eastbourne in East Sussex, hardly anywhere in between! (Vacation time, you know, is a very different thing in the USA!)

  5. I'm looking forward to those stories. I always enjoy a look at how others view our country. I think at this point you don't count much as an outsider anymore though.

    1. Thank you, Mark, that is very kind of you to say so. Not only to I feel as if I have a foot in two countries, so to speak, I also have a great love for many other spots in the world! I should be Georgia Girl With A Heart Big Enough For The World!! But that sounds like I am some kind of great person, so I can't say that!

    1. He is cute and guess what, he is supposed to be a MINIATURE schnauzer but there is nothing miniature about this bruiser!
It was nice to be in England but it always goes by so quickly!

    1. Ah, I think you would look equally as good in a cowboy hat! And I bet your expression just thinking about it is the same as the dog's!
