We Three- My Echo, My Shadow And Me

Photo of the Super Moon in Front of My House...I was all alone, just we three...my echo, my shadow and me!

I only discovered The Ink Spots last year and I was so glad that I did! This video of "We Three" is great, you can listen to a wonderful song and see some fantastic photos of the moon.  Enjoy!

  1. I can not say I like that one but you are right, some of those old records deserve another listen. They had words that meant something or told stories. Nice to hear again anyway.............love the moon pictures too

    1. I know! It is so clever the things that they come up with, I loved the one where the moon looked like a balloon!

    1. Oh yes, I know that one too! Apparently, that was on some kind of video game so even young folks know that one! I know all of the Inkspots songs now, I went on an Inkspots listening frenzy after I discovered them! xx

  6. Wow! You've only discovered The Ink Spots! I've not heard them in years or thought about them in years. They were part of the music I grew up with. My mother and grandmother loved.

    1. My parents only listened to Country music and Gospel but my Dad had a friend who owned a record shop and we had a lot of singles that he gave my Dad...Elvis, Buddy Holly, and lots of others, but no Inkspots!!

  7. The moon shot was beautiful but more than that your header photograph of cacti was absolutely stunning. Are they in your garden? Torrential rain here this morning. We would only find such plants in Kew Gardens or may be in The Eden Project in Cornwall. The Inkspots? That is a real blast from the past! x

    1. Thanks, Pat! I am glad you liked the moon shot AND the cacti photo! The prickly pear cactus was on ...you might guess it, on Arabia Mountain! (See the rock in the background?) They are also on Panola Mouitain AND on OUR mountain, Stone Mountain! This was taken in May, and those flowers are just so pretty! And I love the Inkspots, so happy to have discovered them.
Thanks for your nice email! I will reply to it the first chance I get! It is after 10 at night now, so much to do, and so little time, am I right?

    1. Thank you so much! I found it very difficult for our little point and shoot camera to focus on the moon, but I kept at it, and finally the "man in the moon" showed his face! Glad you liked the song too. I love music, I can't say I prefer any certain kind, I just know what I like. Greetings to you, in your part of the world!

    1. Oh, you have just reminded me of something! I had a friend who was very much into astrology and she told me that my sun was in Aries but my moon was in Cancer! I had forgotten all about that, but I remember telling her that I had always loved the moon, but then, didn't everyone? She said no, that most people don't think a thing about it! HA!
Bill Kenney, the lead singer of the Inkspots, moved to Canada and had a TV show there, I believe!
