Not sure if anyone else saw this one but I thought it was funny and wanted to share it here. I have a Christmas card that shows a snowman finding lumps of coal in his stocking... he takes them out and then puts them on his face and says, "I can see, I can see!" I love that cartoon. It's positive and funny!
If you would like to read a poem that I like very much by Sarah Rossiter, you may find it
here.
Merry Christmas to everyone and hope you all have joy at this season and all through the year.
I like the cartoon, the card and the poem, Kay! And indeed today marks the returning of the light, slowly but surely. How wonderful is that!

Not only will I enjoy your writing on your blog, but your wonderful photos as well.
I am very interested in nature. If you look back at my posts, I was very excited this year to discover the sycamore tree! Never knew the name of the tree but have always loved it.
So glad that you liked the cartoon!
I love snowy owls! oh and barn owls and we hear them often as dusk falls. A lovely poem - thank you. Wishing you and yours an amazing Christmas and New Year,

Hello Kay, thank you for sharing this poem...I like it. Poor Santa, he doesn't believe in himself!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question about the art, I do a lot of searching in Google images till I find something I like. When I find an artist, then I google his/her name for more works to chose from. There is also a good blog out there, all art, to get a person started...at bjws.blogspot.com
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and looking forward to the New Year and more sharing of thoughts and ideas and loves and life on the blogs.
Sara,
