In the 1950's, KOL radio in Seattle had a dance program that came on at 10 PM... the host was a man named Bob Walgren. Moonlight Serenade was his theme song. I used to listen just for the opening credits and then turn off the radio and go to sleep, because the next day was a school day. Haven't heard the song in ages, but it's very evocative and bittersweet....Canadian Chickadeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12995693884248628958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4716894977482967985.post-61308639558303236972013-03-17T22:37:40.446-04:002013-03-17T22:37:40.446-04:00Those Scots are tough guys. Those Scots are tough guys.Debra She Who Seekshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01845703092794695023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4716894977482967985.post-66605174007616196332013-03-17T19:05:01.270-04:002013-03-17T19:05:01.270-04:00It is always so difficult to read and remember the...It is always so difficult to read and remember the horrors these brave people went through in the war, but we must, because we cannot forget.messymimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10649529601786689712noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4716894977482967985.post-16848430402336298782013-03-17T17:25:51.352-04:002013-03-17T17:25:51.352-04:00I'm putting this on my "must read" l...I'm putting this on my "must read" list ASAP.
