Peace Path/La Mer

Claude Debussy began writing this while in Paris but completed "La Mer" at The Grand Hotel In Eastbourne.

    1. The header photo is from this time last year, at the Grist Mill at Stone Mountain Park...this once was used as a water mill to grind corn.

  12. Popular cliffs for people climbing upwards on the white chalk nowadays. It's a scenic area along that coast.

    1. It is a scenic area but one must be very careful near the chalky cliffs, And they have warnings for anyone walking at the bottom of the cliffs also, it is a danger. As you know, Beachy Head is known as a spot for suicides. The chaplains are always looking out for those that they can help.

  14. Never thought I would say it....... but that post made me feel quite homesick for the south of England. Then I took a look out of my window at the sun (at last) shining on the sea and felt better!!
