Happy Birthday to Christopher!

Some people have a birthday very close to Thanksgiving...and our son is one of them! (Sometimes, it is on Thanksgiving day itself!)
Wishing our son a happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead!

That smile! Christopher was a photographer's dream subject as a child, he was always smiling.

Christopher, you are the BABE!  And don't you ever forget it!

This was Richard's birthday cake & ice cream when we were in England but it was good, so C. can share it!
"Cotton Fields" by Creedence Clearwater Revival...that sounds like a good choice as a musical selection for this post!  Enjoy!

    1. Yes, C. is all grown up now, and he even has a resemblance to the St. Christopher in the stained glass window with his thick beard now!
      C. had birthday brownies rather than cake, only since they are easier to transport and also, I make some killer brownies!

    1. C. was born on the Tuesday after the Thanksgiving weekend. He has always been the sweetest thing, he let me enjoy that Thanksgiving before he made his appearance into the world!
      Happy holidays to you too!

  16. Many happy returns C. Didn't think I would know the song but as soon as it started I thought Ah, it's that one. Good choice. One of the first records I ever liked was Rock Boll Weevil by Pat Boone which I got for my birthday around four or five as a hand me down from my sister and soon drove my parents crazy playing it constantly and jumping around the bedroom. I wasn't so keen on the slow ballad number on the A side. Rock Boll Weevil introduced me to American hard rock and the Devil's music for the first time :o)

    1. Thanks for the well wishes for C.!
And your comment made me think of the hymn writer who used some of the melodies from the British pubs and when he was told that might not be seemly, he said, "why should the devil have all the good tunes?". Not sure it that is really true, but I like it!
Even our National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner" was from a British drinking song!
